How long will It take for my order to ship?

We typically get orders out the door in 2-5 days before shipping. Big sales and holiday season (it’s finally here!) can slow us down some (typically to a 10-14 day fulfillment, before shipping), but our amazing shipping team works super hard to get orders from our spice factory and to your door as fast as they can.

The Canadian Postal Service is experiencing staff and funding shortages because of Covid-19. We’ve seen frequent shipping delays after packages leave our storage. All orders qualifying for free shipping are shipped using the Canada Post service. We recommend placing time-sensitive orders early and giving yourself enough transit time for your holiday gifts. 

 
I’m ordering multiple items as gifts. Can I ship items to different addresses on the same order? 

Unfortunately, we can't split orders to multiple shipping addresses. So each shipping address must be its own order and meet the $25 minimum to qualify for free shipping. 

I got my shipment confirmation email. When will I receive my order?

Shipping times can be difficult to estimate, especially during the holiday season, and vary depending on how far you are from our storage facility. Typically, orders shipped to Alberta and adjacent provinces take 5-7 days to arrive.

I got a delivery confirmation email, but I don’t see my package. What happened?

Sometimes shipping carriers scan items as delivered before they arrive to you but they are usually not too far behind. Check in with your neighbors to see if they got your package by mistake  If your order doesn’t show up in a couple days, write us at thechaiwallahs5@gmail.com and we’ll try and track down your package or get a replacement sent your way.
